It has always been one of my desires to have my own seedbank, and I have made several attempts to set one up, but there was always something of more importance that kept me from finishing the project.
I am one of those that wants to do it right, or not do it at all.
I am proud and glad I finally made it, Lady Ganja seeds are the results of decades of cannabis knowledge and experience, and not only mine, the breeder of Lady Ganja genetics, who wants to stay unknown, for the moment, is the star of this project.
I have known him since he is 16, he started as an assistant weed clipper for a friend and colleague of mine, long before I started my first coffeeshop. Marvel, as I will call him, has more than 30 years of experience in growing and breeding cannabis, he has the skills, the genetics and the knowhow.
Lady Ganja seeds are feminized, but the breeder was a bit disappointed with the structure of the feminized plants he grew out. He set out to try to double the chromosomes of the strains he used for the hybrids, and he succeeded in that!
This means a Lady Ganja plant is fuller than the general feminized strain, they produces more branches, so more weed. I asked Marcel to start making me some new strains, new in the sense of taste and smell, as the market was being flooded with Powerplant spin-offs and spicy sativas at that time. Marvel went on a search, and came up with Oracle genetics, to cross that strain with his own old school strains, and modern strains, to try and create new flavors for the cannabis market.
It took about a decade to finally be able to present the results, he created Harlem Diesel first, feminized and XX (double chromosomes) which is well received, a great yielder with an excellent taste and a very relaxing effect on medical users. While I grew out the HD, Marvel started with the Oracle line, he crossed this soily tasting Indica with his own, local old school strains, Shiva Gold and Sticky Fingers,and with Amnesia, NYCD and Harlem Diesel. He also made an Oracle only Fem-XX strain.

I am currently growing out 5 of the new Oracle based Lady Ganja strains in my Spanish garden, I already smoked all Oracle 6 hybrids before, Marvel grew out all the strains indoors, and was proud of the final result. I smoked the buds together with Peter Lunk and Bart, you can see how in the next video.
The Oracle strains are not the fastest growers, but once they start flowering, they grow buds, and they keep on growing and producing more buds until harvest.
I am glad we got to this point, after being involved in cannabis for so many years. I started smoking in 1985, started growing in 1986 and I opened my first coffeeshop in 1991, opened the Global Hemp Museum in 1996.
It took me a few decades to get here, but now I am a proud Seed Banker, offering the latest genetics, with surprising new aroma's and tastes.
